current show and upcoming...

right now i am in a 3d textile show at rock, paper, scissors in oakland. its on telegraph and maybe 24. i have 2 pieces fisting monster (skin tag...renamed) and finger weaving. the show is pretty amazing and i will post photos soon. i mean if i don't run into problems...lately i haven't been able to upload photos here hence no updates.

i am in an event called dirt star its a part of the national queer arts fest. its about the queer back to the land movement and other post hippie shit. i am making an epic rag rug. it is made up of many small abstract rag rugs. i am really lucky that my house has joined in the process by producing beautiful braids for the rugs. it will be an interactive installation, there will be scraps, braids, and rugs to play with and make. its called "cord". it is the next step in the "my mother's blood" series. it feels really good to be working on a big project again.
